OUR MISSION

Our mission is to give thanks to the countless men and women who selflessly and courageously have served or continue to serve and protect our wonderful country.

Our goal is to connect our local Veterans with companion dogs to give them unconditional love, comfort and support in their everyday lives.

WE HAVE RECENTLY ADDED A NEW TRAINING SERVICE TO OUR ORGANIZATION

We offer free obedience training classes to Veterans who currently own a dog but find themselves in need of basic training. (We cannot assist with pets that need significant behavioral modification.) Please fill out the application on the "Application Page" if this is something you are interested in pursuing.

A copy of DD214 must be submitted.

OUR CANINE COACHES

We work with professional dog trainers who have years of experience helping owners seamlessly connect with their new pets. Our canine coaches will be available to you every step of the way in order to have your personal dog match be a joyful and exciting experience.

Veterans will learn effective obedience skills and how to address any issues which may arise. Our trainers will help your new dog quickly become part of your family.

If you decide to join a class for dog socialization or want to learn specific skills, we will direct you to the right place and cover the cost of beginning classes. Our trainers will work with you to find the types of programs that suit you, your dog and your personality.

There is absolutely NO COST to the Veteran for any of our training or for adopting a dog.

Once we have completed your match, you will always have free access to any of our trainers or board members if future questions or issues arise.
