Our team of trainers, board members, community organizations and volunteers have allowed us to grow our non-profit organization and to help meet the needs of our Cleveland, Ohio and surrounding counties Veterans. We take our convictions and turn them into action.

Veteran Canine Connection began with the realization that our Veterans, who selflessly serve, protect and defend our country, are often in need of the kind of love and companionship that only a dog can offer. Pets help alleviate loneliness, reduce anxiety and stimulate feelings of general well-being.

OUR MISSION
Our goal is to connect our local Veterans with companion dogs in order to give them unconditional love, comfort and support in their everyday lives at no cost to the Veteran.
Additionally, we offer free obedience training classes to Veterans who currently own a dog but find themselves in need of basic training. (We cannot assist with pets that need significant behavioral modification.) Please fill out the form on the "Application Page" if this is something you are interested in pursuing.
